Raina’s Private Girls Pool Party was a fun event that took place at the Hyatt Regency. Raina had already planned from when the booth would start to when she and her friends would have games to when they’d jump in the pool, etc. She's definitely an event planner in the making.
The minute we started the booth, the girls grabbed their props and posed like divas. We helped some of them with posing ideas while others jumped in the pool for a break. They got back in the booth after jumping in the pool to take more group photos!
We had so much fun during the event and we’re glad that we could make Raina’s Pool Party a fun day for her and her friends.
Wafa’s Mehendi Ceremony at the Taj Coromandel was lively and amazing. This was supposed to be a “Girls Only” party but some of the boys decided to pop by. The booth was so popular the father of the bride decided to extend the booth time by 2.5 hours and the queue of people lined up near the booth was never-ending!
The bride looked stunning and fabulous while the girls and aunties showed off their mehendi designs in style. Our latest prop, a colourful, hand-stitched umbrella from Jaipur made it’s debut and it soon became popular among the guests.
A lot of kids wanted to try out the booth as well, so we stacked a few chairs so that they could climb up and pose. The kids and adults had a blast that evening and were very creative and enthusiastic. We also had a good time and we’re glad that we could spend time making Wafa and Ahmed’s Wedding special and fun.
Suben and Ravina’s Sangeet was an amazing night for all of us at HappyBooth. The event happened the Taj Coromandel Hotel and their families had pulled out all the stops for this event. They had amazing music and dancing and even a fashion show!
During the first hour, guests started to jump into the booth slowly and we also had the main family members pose before they got too busy. By the second hour, the booth was pouring with guests ready to pose! The kids were trying out our plastic swords while the seniors tried out the funky hats.
The groom’s mother and her friends also had a blast posing for photos. Since we were originally booked for 2 hours but the queue for the booth was so long, our time got extended up to 3 hours so that all the guests could walk away with photos. We managed to get the bride and groom to pose with their friends in the booth and they wowed us with their funny, creative poses.
As always, this was an amazing event and we at HappyBooth wish Suben and Ravina all the happiness in the world.
A star studded night at the Taj Coromandel.
"Our two hour of Happybooth for the American Consulate at Taj Coromandel was an amazing, lively event that left us star struck and happy. This event is where our green screen had its debut.
What was supposed to be a formal event ended up turning into a party! We arrived a little early to set up since this was a high security event. The Consulate had managed to arrange a few props and costumes from a studio, aside from us bringing our own. The cowboy hats and a coat used by Super Star Rajini himself were brought in, so they were given extra care.
Among the many guests were singers Shakthishree Gopalakrishnan and Pragathi who jumped into the booth with their friends and family and had a ball. The guests had a ball trying out different props and poses, eg., couples were trying out the Titanic pose, etc. The theme for the party was Hollywood Cinema, so we designed our photo strips to look like film strips and added new backgrounds like a haunted house, ship, etc.
A few guests ended up merging with the backgrounds since they wore green dresses that blended with the green screen. Our outfits for the evening were green too so when a few guests asked us to jump in with them for the photo, the result was that our heads appeared to be floating! But this is certain; this event was so much fun and we won’t be forgetting it any time soon."
