Moena’s 30th Birthday party was celebrated at Luz House in Mylapore. Moena’s husband called us and planned the event as a surprise party for his wife. He thought that our photo booth would be a great addition to the party.
This was our first event with the new HappyBooth, so we took a while to set up things. But once we started, everyone started flocking to the booth for a great time. We were open till 11:00 PM and all those who attended the party had fun. The guests were pretty interested in the booth and how it worked. Some even wrote Google Reviews for us on the spot!
This was also around the time when we adopted a cute kitten called Meep meep. She was really little when we first got her so we had to bring her along so that we could feed and look after her. Meep has always been in the spotlight and such was the case here at Moena’s birthday party. Every guest who saw her thought that she was a tiny toy and she stole everyone’s heart with her playfulness and cuteness.
As for Moena, she also had a fun time with her husband and friends and enjoyed taking pics in the booth. We were so happy to be a part of the celebration and we had a great time at the end of it all.
A birthday party to remember. Sunil’s 60th Birthday Party was held at Sunil’s office in Egmore. This party was a follow-up to the party that celebrated his Round-The-World Race. The party was small with mainly family members and IRT staff attending. Sunil’s daughter was interested in how the photobooth worked and soon after we showed her how it worked, she soon started encouraging the guests to come and take photos. We created special props for the event. The staff and members of Sunil’s family had a fun time posing for pictures in the booth. We had 28 people fit in for a group photo which is the largest number of people we’ve had in our booth at the same time. Sunil’s grand-daughter Adeline was the show stealer, posing for photos with a lot of enthusiasm. Despite the heat and humidity, Adeline was her usual bubbly self and had a ball in the booth. Everyone had loads of fun and left with happy memories of the day.
A fun evening for Kumar and his family. Kumar’s party was a quiet but fun-filled celebration. Kumar’s family and friends were having a fun time as they jumped in the booth to take photos. They chose photo strips and decided to have a simple blue background on their prints. Kumar was enjoying himself. His kids also were having a ball. Shannon’s sister-in-law had come for the event and saw how HappyBooth worked. She fell in love with it and has plans to start it in the US. Everyone had a great time and left with lots of fun memories.
Suni’s Birthday party was a really fun evening, Priya. Priya had already tried HappyBooth at her daughter’s wedding and thought that it would be fun to surprise her best friend with a special birthday photo booth session as a birthday gift. We set up the booth in Suni’s house. At first, the guests were a little shy and hesitant to pose with props. But after fifteen minutes, everyone joined in and struck lots of poses with many props. It was like a ‘Ladies Night’ kind of affair but later, a few couples came by and struck some fun and romantic poses. Some of the guys were busy watching an IPL match so only few entered the booth. But those that did had a wonderful time so everyone was happy! Suni definitely had a good time and so did Priya and the guests. We were happy to be a part of the celebration and were glad that we were able to make Suni’s Birthday Party extra special.
Sagarika’s 1st birthday was a fun filled night that took place at the Mulberry Room in Harrisons Hotel. Her parents, Sindhuja and Ram arranged this party for her with a Minion theme in mind. So we designed special Minions templates to go along with the theme.
We started the booth after the cake cutting. This was also the first event where we offered the guests full 4x6 prints and photo strips. Most of the guests chose the 4x6 prints. The guests liked the concept of HappyBooth and had a blast posing for photos. One guest gave us a Facebook review that very night!
While taking photos, one of our team members saw a little girl who wore 3-4 props and was patiently waiting to take a photo. We called her to the booth and had her stand on a chair and pose since the booth was set at adult height. She then got her 4x6 print that she could show everyone at the party.
Sagarika, her parents and the guests gave us great feedback and had a really fun night of posing and celebration and we are really glad that we could be a part of it.
Vikram’s 40th Birthday Party was a fun-filled evening for all who were present. Though the crowd was small (15 people), that didn’t stop them (or us) from having fun! The birthday bash was held at the at the Wellington Hall in Taj Coromandel in the and we had an absolute ball taking photos for them.
Vikram’s friends and family who organized the event made customized buttons and wine bottles while we made customized 40th birthday party props. The guests had a fun time posing for pictures with our props and they came up with really creative poses.
One of the most creative poses however, was done by Vikram’s grandfather. He took our light studio umbrella and used it as a prop! We were a bit surprised at first but it was really cool too.
To sum it all up, Vikram’s birthday party was a wild night of fun and I’m sure that everyone who attended has carried home some wonderful memories of that night.
Sunil’s Round The World Party was a one in a life time event that happened at Luz House. Rohan’s dad, Sunil had just completed a Round-The-World Sailing Race and the family wanted to surprise him by throwing a party to celebrate his achievement and his 60th birthday. The whole family planned the surprise so well that Sunil didn’t have a clue about it till he reached the venue. The booth was a hit as always. We had special sailing-related props made for the occasion. The guests had a fun time with the props, boes, hats, etc. People from all age groups jumped in the booth for pictures. The music was energising and upbeat and almost everyone was dancing the night away. We had a great time celebrating Sunil’s birthday and his success in the race with him.
