Our new business cards are out and we’re adding a little fun along with them.
Like it or not, when it comes to face-to-face interaction with clients, your business cards (and the way you represent the company) can indicate how good your business is. We decided to have our business cards in the form of small mustaches with our logo and details on one side.
‘What about the other side?’ you ask. You can use it as a prop for when you’re in our booth or if you just wanna take a selfie with your friends and win a prize. ‘Win a prize? What do you mean?’
Well, we have an on-going contest called #happyboothfamous where you take a picture with our business cards, hashtag it “happyboothfamous” and post it on Facebook or Instagram. Email entries are also welcome. Our favorite snapsters will receive a surprise gift!
‘Where do I get one?’ Grab one at our office or visit us during our next event! Can't stop by our office? Just send us a quick email with mailing address and we will mail one to you.
We can’t wait to see your photos and (hopefully) you will win a prize.
The Secret Santa event was really fun and heartwarming event since we were helping Santa bring some cheer to some sweet kids from an orphanage in the city.
The event was held to spread Christmas cheer and to give them a good time. Santa came in and made the kids laugh and dance with joy and gave them a few presents. There was dancing, music and cake as well.
The kids enjoyed themselves in the photobooth. They loved the props and kept coming back for more pictures. We were glad that we could share the Christmas spirit with these kids and we're glad that they had a great time with Santa and us.
We at HappyBooth love the Halloween holiday and to celebrate, we decided to host a party for some of our friends at our office in Egmore. We had the specially decorated the place with all sorts of bats, spiders, jack o' lanterns and other Halloween classics.
We had about 15 of our close friends come and party with us that night dressed in their favourite Halloween costumes. We played some fun games and had lots of crazy stuff to eat. We got in some special Halloween candy such as eye balls and bat-shaped jelly beans, etc., for feasting pleasure.
We opened the booth and took some fun pictures with our friends and ended the night with the photo session. Though this event was a pretty low-key affair, we had fun with our buddies and we're glad that we celebrated Halloween together.
Happybooth was the centre of attention at a party at the Intercontinental Chennai. We set up shop at the entrance of the hotel so that when the guests passed by, they could step in for some photos. The guests were really excited to try the booth and were even more excited when they got the photos printed instantly. Soon enough, word spread and many people tried it as much as possible and were surprised to find the photos online the next day. Happybooth really stole the show at the Intercontinental and we were glad to have given the guests a great time that night.
The Friendship Day celebration at the Residency Towers was a fun and exciting event. The manager for the hotel, Charles, had experienced HappyBooth during the American Independence Day celebrations at the Taj Coromandel and thought it would be a good idea to have us for the Friendship Day celebrations.
The booth was set up outside the restaurant at the hotel. The guests were getting curious about what we had set up before we opened the booth. After we explained the idea and concept of HappyBooth, the guests jumped in immediately and had a ball.
We had special Friendship Day themed props which the guests loved. A father of three beautiful girls said it was one of his daughter's birthday and this year, HappyBooth had made her day very special with beautiful photos and memories. Families had an amazing lunch and each of them left the venue with happy memories.
Charles and his friends also jumped into the booth for some pics. In the end, we had the whole staff take a group photo with the chefs. We’re glad that we were able to make the Friendship Day Celebrations at the Residency Towers a success.
A star studded night at the Taj Coromandel.
"Our two hour of Happybooth for the American Consulate at Taj Coromandel was an amazing, lively event that left us star struck and happy. This event is where our green screen had its debut.
What was supposed to be a formal event ended up turning into a party! We arrived a little early to set up since this was a high security event. The Consulate had managed to arrange a few props and costumes from a studio, aside from us bringing our own. The cowboy hats and a coat used by Super Star Rajini himself were brought in, so they were given extra care.
Among the many guests were singers Shakthishree Gopalakrishnan and Pragathi who jumped into the booth with their friends and family and had a ball. The guests had a ball trying out different props and poses, eg., couples were trying out the Titanic pose, etc. The theme for the party was Hollywood Cinema, so we designed our photo strips to look like film strips and added new backgrounds like a haunted house, ship, etc.
A few guests ended up merging with the backgrounds since they wore green dresses that blended with the green screen. Our outfits for the evening were green too so when a few guests asked us to jump in with them for the photo, the result was that our heads appeared to be floating! But this is certain; this event was so much fun and we won’t be forgetting it any time soon."
Sunil’s Round The World Party was a one in a life time event that happened at Luz House. Rohan’s dad, Sunil had just completed a Round-The-World Sailing Race and the family wanted to surprise him by throwing a party to celebrate his achievement and his 60th birthday. The whole family planned the surprise so well that Sunil didn’t have a clue about it till he reached the venue. The booth was a hit as always. We had special sailing-related props made for the occasion. The guests had a fun time with the props, boes, hats, etc. People from all age groups jumped in the booth for pictures. The music was energising and upbeat and almost everyone was dancing the night away. We had a great time celebrating Sunil’s birthday and his success in the race with him.
