Ananthan's 80th Birthday party was a really fun night. Though the crowd was small they still had fun posing in the booth. There were many elderly folks who loved the idea of Happybooth and posed gleefully. They liked it so much that we were asked to extend our time by an hour. The event went off very smoothly with many including the birthday boy Ananthan, leaving with smiles on their faces and good, happy memories of the night.

A birthday party to remember. Sunil’s 60th Birthday Party was held at Sunil’s office in Egmore. This party was a follow-up to the party that celebrated his Round-The-World Race. The party was small with mainly family members and IRT staff attending. Sunil’s daughter was interested in how the photobooth worked and soon after we showed her how it worked, she soon started encouraging the guests to come and take photos. We created special props for the event. The staff and members of Sunil’s family had a fun time posing for pictures in the booth. We had 28 people fit in for a group photo which is the largest number of people we’ve had in our booth at the same time. Sunil’s grand-daughter Adeline was the show stealer, posing for photos with a lot of enthusiasm. Despite the heat and humidity, Adeline was her usual bubbly self and had a ball in the booth. Everyone had loads of fun and left with happy memories of the day.
A fun evening for Kumar and his family. Kumar’s party was a quiet but fun-filled celebration. Kumar’s family and friends were having a fun time as they jumped in the booth to take photos. They chose photo strips and decided to have a simple blue background on their prints. Kumar was enjoying himself. His kids also were having a ball. Shannon’s sister-in-law had come for the event and saw how HappyBooth worked. She fell in love with it and has plans to start it in the US. Everyone had a great time and left with lots of fun memories.
Arsheen and Mansoor’s sangeet was wild and fun! We had set up in ECR for the event. The evening was full of dancing and music.
The crowd was enjoying the photobooth. Everybody lined up to have their photos taken. They were very interested in how the photobooth was set up and how it worked. Everyone had a ball using the fun props we had.
Everyone enjoyed it so much, that we were asked to extend our time for an extra hour. Everybody had a great time Arsheen and Mansoor’s sangeet and we are glad that we were there to make the event memorable for everyone.
Kaarthik and Poojitha's reception was really, really fun. There was huge crowd waiting to try the booth. The guests were very excited about the props and the set up of the both. First timers came back for more pictures again and again. They were surprised with the concept of instant prints too. We got asked to extend our time by an hour because of the guests wanting more and more. We had so much fu and we're glad that we made Kaarthik and Poojitha's event enjoyable for everyone.
The Secret Santa event was really fun and heartwarming event since we were helping Santa bring some cheer to some sweet kids from an orphanage in the city.
The event was held to spread Christmas cheer and to give them a good time. Santa came in and made the kids laugh and dance with joy and gave them a few presents. There was dancing, music and cake as well.
The kids enjoyed themselves in the photobooth. They loved the props and kept coming back for more pictures. We were glad that we could share the Christmas spirit with these kids and we're glad that they had a great time with Santa and us.
A fun night for all. Rashi and Rahul’s sangeet was an amazing night full of dancing, posing and music. The sangeet happened at Crowne Plaza. Everyone was on the dance floor from start to end. The guests loved the photobooth and kept coming back for more photos. Everyone from every age group was in the booth posing and dancing away. We had a fun time at Rashi and Rahul’s sangeet and we wish them all the happiness in the world.
A night of dance offs, fun and crazy pics.
Aparana and Charan’s cocktail party/sangeet was a mad, wild affair which happened at the Purple Room in the Rain Tree Hotel. The event started with the grand entry of the bride, Aparana, followed by a surprise song by the groom, Charan. There was a dance off between the bride’s side and the groom’s side. Our newest team members Ananth and Vinothini had a ball at the event.
We were initially hired by Aparana and Charan for two hours but since the guests were having so much fun, they asked us to extend our time by one more hour. The guests had a ball at the booth and the shy ones ended up being the ones who took more photos. As time went by, the party kept getting crazier and crazier. Every guest left with a photo and good memories of the night. And so did some of the wedding photographers! All in all, the sangeet was a smash hit and we wish Aparana and Charan all the best.
Doing photo shoots with the same old boring backgrounds makes the job a lot less fun. No one wants to pose in front of the same white/black background sheet for every photo. The fun is lost when you have the same old backgrounds.
To make things more fun, we use customized backgrounds that add variety to any and every event. We have our ever popular gold background (to treasure those golden moments), a black board background, a car cut-out and so much more. We even had a Great Gatsby themed background done up for one event!
So if you plan having customized backgrounds, make sure that you specify that to the booth operators as soon as possible. It takes time to come up with perfect ideas so if you inform them at least two weeks beforehand, you’re sure to get only the best!
Customized backgrounds really come in handy for many events. Theme parties always have a certain idea or feature behind it so it helps if we highlight it and use it in the backgrounds to go along with the theme. Otherwise it would just be a big bore for guests.
